We’ve all got that friend that drags their birthday celebrations out for a whole week...
Yep, that’s us! This week, as part of our 5th birthday celebrations, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and looking back at the last five years of Bootea.
Five years has gone by in a flash – it feels like just yesterday we were launching our ground-breaking detox tea and changing the whole industry. We started our selling our famous 14-Day Teatox exclusively from our website – and we loved working with some of the world’s top social influencers to spread the word!
By 2014, we had launched our best-selling Teatox into a range of retail stores! Soon, you guys were snapping up your favourite detox tea on your local high streets, in Holland & Barrett as well as Boots and Superdrug. We also launched a 28-Day version of Teatox, for a longer detox programme, and exciting new products were in the works.
2015 was a huge year for us! We won Product of the Year in the Slimming Product Category – a huge achievement just two years after launch! New products were also in the pipeline – we launched our Bootea Multivits as the perfect accompaniment to your Teatox, and we introduced a Bootea Cup, ideal for sipping your detox tea on-the-go.
In 2016 we were riding high, and expanded our range significantly. Along came Bootea Shake, our best-selling protein shake, which also picked up Product of the Year in the Weight Loss and Slimming Aid Category. We stole our own crown!
Our delicious Bootea Brownie was added to our range, giving everyone a tasty way to refuel after a gym session. We also launched Bootea CLA – the perfect supporting supplement for any transformation. Coconut Oil also came along, and as well as using it in your food, you all found plenty of ways to incorporate this miracle oil into your lifestyles, using it lip balm, a hair mask, a moisturiser and more.
We kicked off 2017 by introducing our Matcha tea, still one of our best-sellers (and currently available at 50% off as part of our birthday celebrations!). Whether you were sipping Matcha in its regular tea form, or turning it into chia puddings and energy balls, you guys couldn’t get enough of this traditional Japanese green tea.
2017 also saw the launch of our Fruity Teatox range – limited edition flavours putting a twist on the classic Teatox! Our Sunshine Berry edition went down particularly well, but our Mojito edition definitely had its loyal fans too!
Now we arrive at 2018 – we can’t believe Bootea is five years old! Bootea Iced made its debut in February this year, giving up a taste of summer a few months early.
This year also saw one of the biggest Bootea launches yet – Coffeetox! A brand-new detox coffee, and the perfect accompaniment to our existing tea range. You can get Coffeetox exclusively from Holland & Barrett and the Bootea website, for a lively caffeine kick that’ll get your day started the right way.
